Evaluator & Proctor Competency (EPC) Program

EPC Program

Evaluators and proctors perform critical roles in helping companies protect the integrity and defensibility of their OQ programs and the ITS EPC Program prepares individuals for these roles. Through the ITS EPC Program, prospective evaluators and proctors are vetted and trained, arming them with the necessary knowledge and training to become ITS-authorized evaluators and proctors.

Prospective Evaluator & Proctor Vetting

Before attending the EPC training, prospective ITS evaluators and proctors must first undergo a vetting process that is designed to ensure they have the work experience and expertise required to perform these critical roles. This process includes providing technical references who can attest that the individual possesses the knowledge, skills, and ability to evaluate the tasks for which they are seeking to become and authorized evaluator.

EPC Training

Once they have been successfully vetted, prospective evaluators and proctors must then attend our one-day, IACET-accredited Evaluator & Proctor Competency training class (either virtually or in-person) in order to become ITS-authorized evaluators and proctors. ITS requires those who are members of the AP Network to retake the course annually to to maintain/refresh their understanding of the program requirements and remain proficient in their roles, helping protect the effectiveness of your OQ program.
